SUBSTANCE: system that can provide for virtual junctions in remote-access point (RAP) but also supports numerous services rendered at present by circuit switches has signal processor that receives and processes first signal message of communication system for call processing to yield choice-identifying control and signal messages and for transmitting control messages to relocation multiplexers operating in RAP that receive access junction for call. Multiplexers convert subscriber information obtained from access junction into RAP elements for transmission through first virtual junction according to control messages. Broadband switches render services on call according to signaling message of communication system.
