FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: each brake disk is made up of several segments and is provided with elements for rigid connection of segments to each other, rigid fixing of segments on rotary support and rigid connection of brake disk arranged at opposite sides of rotary support. Support consists of hub and disk. Disk of rail wheel has first radial zone of higher rigidity in area of hub and second radial zone of lower rigidity in area of wheel tread. Rows of corresponding through holes are made in these zones. Brake disk are connected to rotary support through radial higher rigidity zone in hub area. Number of components segment of each brake disk is odd, except unity. Rotary support can be made in form of braking hub. EFFECT: reduced motionless mass. 16 cl, 6 dwg
