FIELD: inorganic compounds technology. SUBSTANCE: lithium hexafluorophosphate used as ionic electrolyte component for lithium-ion power sources is prepared via phosphorus pentafluoride-lithium fluoride interaction in liquid hydrogen fluoride followed by isolation of desired product from reaction mixture and removal of hydrogen fluoride admixture by heating lithium hexafluorophosphate in atmosphere of phosphorus pentafluoride fed in countercurrent mode to lithium hexafluorophosphate. Reactor contains connecting pipes to supply hydrogen fluoride and to discharge lithium hexafluorophosphate; interconnected cooled zone and heated zone; lithium fluoride feeder; axial worm; connecting pipe to supply phosphorus pentafluoride into heated zone in countercurrent to solid phase; backflow condenser for hydrogen fluoride mounted on gas phase outlet connecting pipe, the latter being disposed between cooled and heated zones. Product consists >99.9% of chief substance and yield according to lithium fluoride is ~100%. EFFECT: improved purity of product. 4 cl, 1 dwg
