LOW-CEMENT REFRACTORY CONCRETE MIXTURE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: industry of building materials. SUBSTANCE: low-cement refractory concrete mixture comprises calcium-aluminate binding agent, ultradispersed addition, complex modifying agent and refractory filling agent. Mixture has a powder with particles size from 0.5 to 40 mcm as calcium-aluminate binding agent based on the ground large-crystalline product comprising a matrix formed by minerals CaO•2Al₂O₃ and CaO•6Al₂O₃ with crystal hibitus value from 50 to 10 000 mcm prepared by slow cooling in ingot of high-alumina melt, corrected in remelting aluminothermic slags in the following ratio of components, wt.%: mentioned powder based on large-crystalline product, 2-10; ultradispersed addition, 1-15; complex modifying agent, 0.1-0.3; refractory filling agent, the balance. Invention provides enhancement of the rate of concrete mixture hardening in initial period, retention of thermomechanical properties, low water requirement of mixture, good plasticity and normal time of setting.
