FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: alloy contains, wt %: nickel, 5-30; chromium, 0.2-8.0; manganese, 0.2-9.0; aluminum, 0.1-1.0; carbon, 0.2-2.0; silicon, 0.1-25; and iron, the balance. Alloy can be used both for alloying and for combined deoxidation and alloying of steel as well as an intermediate for manufacture of nickel- or chromium-enriched ferronickel or ferro-chromo-nickel, respectively. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of utilizing useful components contained in complex nickel alloys and widened application area for complex alloys obtained from low-grade nickel ores. 1 tbl, 4 ex
