FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; method of production of the ferroalloys.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to reprocessing of the nickel-containing materials by reduction smelting in the electric furnaces and may be used for reprocessing of the base oxidized nickel ores, the fine carbon-nickel-containing scrap of the nonferrous metallurgy and the nickel-containing scrap. The method provides, that as the carbonaceous reducing agent use the wastes of production of the nickel matte taken in amount of 10-30 mass % from the mass of the oxidized nickel ore, and before realization of the reduction smelting in the electric furnace they preliminary produce the nickel-containing metallic liquid melt in amount of 5-25 mass %, then conduct smelting of the oxidized nickel ore with production of the oxide hot smelt, and the carbonaceous reducing agent and the fluxing additives introduce into the metallic smelt and into the oxide smelt by the injection method. The invention allows to use the low-cost sort of the reducing agent and the nickel-containing oxide substance instead of the coke breeze, to involve in the reprocessing the earlier dead wastes of the non-ferrous industry, and also to increase extraction of the nickel into the alloy by 2-5 % and to reach 92-95 % of the nickel extraction due to intensification of the nickel transformation from the oxide smelt into the metallic phase.
EFFECT: the invention allows to use the low-cost sort of the reducing agent and the nickel-containing oxide substance instead of the coke breeze, to involve the earlier dead wastes of the non-ferrous industry into the production process, to increase extraction of the nickel into the alloy by 2-5 %, to reach 92-95 % of the nickel extraction due to intensification of the nickel transformation from the oxide smelt into the metallic phase.
