FIELD: thermal engineering; thermal power stations. SUBSTANCE: operating process is proposed for heat supply system in which full-flow condensate is heated in high-pressure regenerative heaters, users are supplied with heated delivery water which is sequentially heated prior being delivered to heat network in system bottom and top heaters of extraction turbine; delivery water loss is replenished by feeding makeup water which is preheated and vacuum-deaerated prior to being conveyed to heat network. Prior to vacuum deaeration makeup water is heated by heat released from system bottom heater condensate. Upon heating makeup water prior to vacuum deaeration condensate of system bottom heater is passed to full- flow condensate line upstream of first low-pressure regenerative heater. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and economic efficiency of heat supply. 2 cl, 1 dwg
