METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ISSUING PERSONAL SIGNAL WHEN HELP OR EMERGENCY SITUATION OCCURS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2184395 C2

FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves sending a signal by means of personal radio signal unit on occurring dangerous situation. The radio signal is transformed into a message on intermediate stations having telephone communication line distributed over the territory under control. The message is sent via the telephone communication lines to the control station or to a corresponding organization for giving help. Signal location is determined according to intermediate stations from which massages have come. The system has personal radio signal unit, devices for receiving radio signals and building messages mounted in intermediate stations, redial units for sending messages to control station and radio direction finders. Any danger occurring, module owner has to press a corresponding button. Module signal is caught by means of receiving antennas of neighboring intermediate stations. After the signals being transformed, messages come from the corresponding telephone apparatuses via telephone lines with redialing a control station where the owner disposition is determined. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in detecting the source point of alarm signal; wide range of data processing capabilities. 11 cl, 4 dwg
