Invention claims the preparation for oral administration that comprises a drug with unpleasant taste, polyatomic alcohol with heat-solubility 20 cal/g and lower and buffer agent. Cimetidine, famotidine, nisatidine, ranitidine hydrochloride and other drugs can be used as an active substance. Erythritol, xylitol, mannitol or sorbitol or their mixtures can be used as a polyatomic alcohol. Invention claims the particular composition of the preparation comprising 5-10 weight parts of indicated polyatomic alcohol and 0.5-7 weight parts of buffer agent per 1 weight part of antagonist of H₂-receptors. Invention proposes method of improvement of intake of preparation with unpleasant taste for oral administration that is carried out by addition of polyatomic alcohol with a value of heat-solubility 20 cal/g and lower and buffer agent to the preparation.
