FIELD: medicinal microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polyvalent vaccine against human leptospirosis and a method of its preparing. Vaccine comprises strains of four serogroups: Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae Copenhageni NIIEM N 466, Leptospira grippotyphosa NIIEM N 30/469, Leptospira pomona mozdok NIIEM N 48B/470 and Leptospira sejroe sejroe NIIEM N 751/471 as antigens. Method of vaccine preparing involves culturing Leptospira microorganisms biomass in semisynthetic medium with human blood proteins, its inactivation with formaldehyde, concentration of bacterial mass by ultrafiltration method on hole polyamide fibers, purification of biomass from culturing medium components by two-fold washing out with physiological solution, standardization of bacterial mass by turbidity optical enteric standard value 10 U and its preserving with formaldehyde.
