FIELD: mining industry earth-moving machinery. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to single-bucket cyclic-action power shovels. Proposed bucket tooth has wedge-shaped working part formed by convex upper and concave lower curvilinear faces formed by conjugated cylindrical surfaces and provided with stiffening ribs, and cutting part displaced relative to longitudinal axis of tooth and provided with cylindrical surface, and also root part with support surfaces. Cutting part is displaced downwards relative to longitudinal axis of tooth through value equal to 0.10-0.14 of length of tooth working part. Radius of its cylindrical surface is equal to 20 mm. Wedge-shaped part of tooth is made with acute angle of 10-15^° between convex upper and concave lower curvilinear faces. Radii of cylindrical surfaces forming convex upper and concave lower curvilinear faces of working part and lower ribs on concave curvilinear face in area of working part are considered to be equal. Support surfaces of root part are made inclined with angle of inclination of 9-11^° and rise towards tooth body. Space in form of shrinkage cavity which does not come to working surface is made in tooth body in place where working part changes into root part.
