FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to excavating equipment. Tooth bucket of a mine crawler excavator is made solid and contains a wedge-shaped working part, a massive transition part and a tail part with a socket open at the back and covering the landing part of the front wall of the bucket. Working part is formed by a convex upper and concave lower curvilinear faces formed by mating cylindrical surfaces, and flat side edges, provided with longitudinal ribs on the rear edge and has a rounded cutting edge, equipped with a drop-shaped protrusion and offset relative to the longitudinal axis of the tooth down, and the tail part is equipped with longitudinal ribs above and below. Width of the working and transitional parts of the tooth is 80–160 mm larger than the width of the tail, and the radii of the cylindrical surfaces forming the concave lower curvilinear face of the working part and the ribs on it are approximately equal to the length of the tooth. Working part is sharpened on the side edges approximately by 2/5 of its length, the tapering points are made at an angle α=10–12° to the side faces and provided with a cutting edge and drop-shaped protrusions similar to those made on the end cutting edge. On the back side of the working part 3–5 ribs are made.
