FIELD: thermal engineering; heat-to-power conversion. SUBSTANCE: working medium is evaporated in solar-power plant due to solar energy and condensed by means of coolant whose function may perform any environmental substance permanently held at low temperature; if such substance is not available, use is made of any liquid coolant which is cooled down in heat exchanger by environmental substance when its temperature is at lowest value. Thoroughly heat-insulated storage tanks are installed for hot and cool coolants in order to ensure operation of plant any time and not only during sunshine; when additional coolant is used, there are also tanks for coolant absorbing waste-steam heat and for coolant releasing its heat to environmental substance. Such arrangement ensures rather high efficiency of plant over 10%. EFFECT: enhanced evaporation and condensation temperature drop of working medium and efficiency of power plant. 2 cl, 1 dwg
