LIFE-SUPPORT AND SURVIVAL COMPLEX USING SOLAR ENERGY Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2194834 C2

FIELD: construction industry, specifically, equipment converting solar energy to electric energy. SUBSTANCE: complex includes installation of hangar type of required space which comprises living and production areas, repair shops, rooms for live-stock farming and agricultural plants, power plant based on solar energy, solar collectors, plant generating biological gas from waste of plant-growing and stock-raising. Solar collectors are installed on part of roof, the rest of roof is transparent to sunbeams and is utilized to light agricultural plants. Collectors and transparent part are arranged in alternating bands. Reflectors distributing light on to agricultural plants are installed in points of transmission of sunbeams through roof. Heat of combustion of biological gas and/or dry waste of agricultural plants is utilized in addition to heat of sunbeams to increase efficiency of power plant. EFFECT: provision for normal living conditions in areas of increased energy loads caused by external effects. 2 cl, 1 dwg _
