FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: chlorophenols are determined in air in presence of phenol using piezoelectric resonator with electrodes covered with film based on 1,2,3-tris(beta-cyanoethoxy)propane 10-12 mcg in weight. Gas mixture containing chlorophenols and phenol is introduced into gas carrier flow, which is then passed through detection cell at velocity (3.3- 3.5) x 10-5 cu. m/s. Variation of oscillation frequency of piezoelectric sensor cased by sorption of chlorophenols is measured, from which concentration of latter is determined.
