FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: control unit has case accommodating built-in plug block and mounting printed-circuit board. Coating is provided inside case on plug block side for shielding against electromagnetic radiation. Structured metal layer is deposited on case partition side opposing plug block; this layer is connected via through conductors to plug block and via through conductors, to printed-circuit board. Mentioned layer is used to shield the unit against impact of external electric and magnetic fields. Proposed control unit is designed for use in vehicles for shielding them from external electromagnetic effects.
