FIELD: agriculture, in particular, veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: unit has pouring vessel and plate-shaped member making cover equipped with four radial through slits arranged at right angle one with respect to another. Cross-shaped scraper is mounted in central part of cover for rotation around vertical spindle. Funnel is inserted into vessel. Cross-shaped scraper blades are inserted into respective slits of plate-shaped member and slits are hermetically closed. Plate-shaped member bottom is divided into four sections, into which first milk streams are milked out from respective udder parts. After examining milk, sections are cleaned by rotating cross-piece and milk remained in sections is moved toward slit. Unit allows changings in milk quality to be determined visually prior to putting on teat cups to cow's udder for performing machine milking, as well as by means of diagnostic reagent added to milk.
