FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a body, two pulleys mounted on coaxial cylindrical control shafts. One control shaft is made hollow, and the second control shaft is placed inside it. The ropes are grooved in each of the pulleys and attached to the distal end of endoscope in mutually perpendicular planes. Each of the control shafts is equipped with a control handle and brake. A sleeve is located between the control shafts, rigidly attached to the body. The brake of control shafts are made in the form of disks with two oppositely located cutouts in the form of a part of a circle. One of the cutouts is connected with the camshaft, and the second cutout is connected with an eccentric shaft provided with a handle and placed with an option of rotation in the body.
EFFECT: application of this device will prevent the arbitrary change in position of the distal end of the endoscope at its turn of the control shaft, simplify the design and improve the accuracy of the distal end of the endoscope in the desired position.
