FIELD: equipment for purification of natural and sewage waters; applicable at enterprises engaged in preparation of potable water and treatment of sewage waters. SUBSTANCE: settler accommodates perforated cylindro-conical chambers, pipeline with water conducting branch pipes located out of vessel coaxial to chambers. Pipeline for discharge of sediments is located in vessel lower part and connected with vessel by discharge branch pipes. Branch pipe for discharge of purified water is located in vessel end face. Angle of inclination of generator of conical part of chamber to its base equals 50-60 deg. EFFECT: higher efficiency of purification due to elimination of dead zones. 1 dwg
