FIELD: handling of noncombusted fuel remnants. SUBSTANCE: method comes to putting remnants of fuel in wet state in ash disposal area and consolidating them using heavy tamper applying jarring strokes to surface of fuel remnants by heavy tamper are exposed to jarring by action of pulse pressure source dipped into fuel remnants. Treatment of fuel remnants and their consolidation are carried out at intensity providing excitation of acoustic cavitation in pore liquid, and solution formed in pores at acoustic in base of ash disposal area is entrapped and brought out of base of ash disposal area. Either internal vibrator generating jarring vibration in fuel remnants or charges of explosive generating jarring explosions or electric discharge device providing electric discharges in remnants of fuel can be as sources of pulse pressure. Solution entrapped in base of ash disposal area is directed for reprocessing for extraction of valuable components and for neutralization. Bubble acoustic cavitation provides dissolving of chemical elements and their compounds in remnants of fuel. EFFECT: provision of ecological safety at storing fuel remnants. 7 cl, 2 dwg
