FIELD: radio direction finding, location of radio emission sources. SUBSTANCE: given procedure of direction finding includes reception of radio signal with the aid of four omnidirectional antennas. Three of them form ring antenna array with same distance β, between antennas, fourth antenna is positioned in center. Phase difference between signals received by each of three antennas and by fourth antenna is measured. In accordance with invention maximal phase difference is chosen, sum of all measured phase differences is found. If obtained sum has no-zero value maximal phase difference is corrected and usage of obtained values of phase difference helps to unambiguously determine azimuth θ and angle β of elevation of source of radio signal whose minimal value of wave length exceeds β. Gear for realization of procedure of unambiguous direction finding has four omnidirectional antennas, four radio reception units, three meters of phase difference, comparator, unit for correction of phase difference and unit computing radio bearing. 42% is achievable increase in precision of unambiguous direction finding of radio emission sources.
