FIELD: automatic control and magnetic metering. SUBSTANCE: magnetoresistive transducer may be used for recording mechanical displacements and metering constant and variable magnetic fields. Light magnetization axis in all thin-film magnetoresistive strips is oriented unidirectionally crosswise of strips. Control conductor is routed through insulating layer on top of strips in transversal direction relative to them along their light magnetization axes.
