FIELD: instrumentation engineering; tachometers, displacement transducers, constant and variable magnetic field meters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed magnetic-field sensor distinguished by S-shaped static current-voltage characteristic has four identical magnetoresistive strips with longitudinally oriented directions of weak magnetization connected into bridge circuit. The latter is enclosed by two circular film magnetic circuits forming two pairs of magnetoresistors by means of micromagnetic system; these pairs of magnetoresistors differ in sensitivity to magnitude and direction of magnetic field being recorded. Two strips of one bridge-circuit arm are disposed in respective two slit-shaped transverse clearances of respective circular film magnetic circuit lying in plane of strips. Circular magnetic circuit surface carries magnetic system that has one common and/or several separate permanent magnets whose saturation axes are parallel to directions of weak magnetization of strips.
EFFECT: reduced power requirement.
