FIELD: explosive magnetic power sources. SUBSTANCE: generator has movable conductor incorporating internal explosive charge, detonator, fixed spiral conductor connected to movable conductor through switching member on one side of spiral and through load, on its other side. Movable conductor is placed immediately against fixed conductor and is separated from the latter by means of insulating film; movable conductor is made in the form of two longitudinally slotted pipes placed one into other and separated by insulating film layer. Longitudinal slots of internal pipe are arranged between those of external pipe and edges of longitudinal slots are covered with insulating film. Explosive charge is made in the form of thin-walled tube accommodating hollow rod of nonconducting material whose density is higher than that of movable-conductor external pipe; outer surface of movable-conductor external pipe bears triangular-section longitudinal grooves and internal pipe is made of material whose density is lower than that of external pipe.
