FIELD: preparation of emulsified asphalt; highway engineering. SUBSTANCE: emulsified asphalt contains emulsifying agent obtained through saponification of fatty waste by aqueous solution of alkaline at heating. Used as fatty waste is secondary product of processing cottonseed oil formed after distillation of fatty acids of cotton-seed oil; ratio of components of emulsified asphalt is as follows, mass-%: bitumen, 50 to 55; secondary product of processing cottonseed oil, 0.5 to 1.0; NaOH, 0.15 to 0.3 or KOH, 0.2 to 0.4, water being the remainder. EFFECT: enhanced resistance of emulsion to separation. 2 tbl
