FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in road engineering as binder for organic-mineral mixtures, cold asphaltic concretes, surface treatment, in arrangement of tar roofing and hydraulic insulation protection, in composition of combined binders during arrangement of foundations and beds of motor roads. Method for preparation of bitumen emulsion, including preparation of emulsifier from cationic surfactant, its mixing with heated solution of acid to complete dilution with further introduction of heated bitumen emulsifier into prepared aqueous solution, while mixing. At that previously aqueous solution of hydrochloric or orthophosphoric acid is combined with part of emulsifier in amount of 25-75% from the rated value, and remaining part of emulsifier is added into heated bitumen at the following ratio of ingredients, wt %: bitumen - 60.0-70.0, cationic emulsifier - 0.15-2.0, cationic latex - 2.0-6.0, kerosene - 0.5-2.0, calcium chloride - 0.1-0.5, hydrochloric or orthophosphoric acid - 0.10-2.0, water - the rest, at that ratio of acid to total quantity of emulsifier makes 0.6-1.0.
EFFECT: improved resistance of bitumen emulsion in storage and transportation, reduced time for emulsifier saponification process.
