FIELD: packing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for jointing material, such as packing film being unwound from roll. Device is used in machine packing liquid in bags. When material on one roll has been expended material from mew roll is jointed to end of material from previous roll. Jointing device has supports for at least two rolls but material is being unwound only from one roll at a time. End of material from new roll is brought into close contact with end of material of previous roll. Device has at least one pickup detecting end of material being unwound from roll and sending corresponding signal to jointing device to provided required jointing of material ends. EFFECT: possibility of replacement of rolls without stopping the machine. 5 cl, 3 dwg
