FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: dysprosium is converted into complex compound with organic reagent, in particular sulfosalicyl-S-(4- bromoanylide) methyl ester, in presence of cationic surfactant, namely decylpyridinium chloride. Dysprosium/organic solvent/surfactant ratio is 1: 2: 20, pH = 7.8 +/- 0.08. Simultaneously, Tb, Dy, Sm, and Eu can be determined. EFFECT: increased selectivity and reproducibility. 2 cl
