FIELD: equipment measuring forces and deformation of bodies. SUBSTANCE: in agreement with first variant basic light flux is so directed on to screen which is part of sensitive element deformed under action of force that partial shading of one of two photodetectors arranged in plane of projection of light flux is implemented and signals from outputs of both photodetectors corresponding to reference and measured loads are measured. In addition, these photodetectors are illuminated in the course of certain time by additional light flux but without shading and corresponding output signals from photodetectors are measured for reference and measured loads. All measured parameters converted to relative values are taken into account while value of measured load is calculated by certain formula. According to second variant identical measurements are carried out for measured load and for load which is sum of measured and reference loads which are later converted to relative parameters and measured load is computed by corresponding formula.
