FIELD: electrical engineering; plate manufacture for alkali cells. SUBSTANCE: method involves continuous passage of highly porous base strip of plate produced from electricity conducting material through vessel filled with active material, then through die and drying device followed by its calibration in rolls; while moving through active material from bottom upwards base strip is passed in addition between two brushes reciprocating and vibrating while moving towards each other, axes of rotation of brushes being in same plane. Such mode of brush movement ensures implantation of active material particles in pores of base strip of plate. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 1 dwg
