FIELD: water transport and shipbuilding; reduction of hydrodynamic resistance of ship's hulls. SUBSTANCE: device is made in form of double structure with cavity formed between inner and outer hulls of ship. Outer hull of ship is provided with system of holes. Hull is provided with at least one hole for free escape of water from cavity during motion of ship. At least one hole is provided on washed portion of hull and/or transom. If hole is made on washed portion of hull, projection is made before it. Hole for escape of water from cavity may be provided with adjustable area. It is good reactive to drive cavity into sectors by means of hermetic bulkheads. Each sectors may be provided with hole for free escape of water.
