FIELD: glass industry. SUBSTANCE: masking glass is based on soda-lime glass with addition of iron, cobalt, chromium and titanium used as materials absorbing infrared and ultraviolet radiation and imparting color. Glass of the invention has color characterized with wave length within, approximately, 480-510 nm, preferably, approximately, 490-525 nm, and excitation purity of not in excess of 20%, preferably, 5-15%. One of versions of invention embodiment deals with glass based on said green soda-lime glass absorbing infrared and ultraviolet radiation but including component absorbing solar radiation and imparting color, and which consists, essentially, of approximately 0.90-2.0 wt.% of general iron, 0.17-0.52 wt.% of FeO, 40-150 ppm of CoO, 250-800 ppm of Cr2O3, and 0.1-1.0 wt.% of Ti(O)2.
