FIELD: thermomechanical treatment of machine parts in circulating gas medium applicable in power engineering industry, particularly, in aircraft and space engineering and other industries. SUBSTANCE: method includes heating and simultaneous saturation of machine part with several diffusing elements in circulating halide medium. Diffusing elements are formed in contact of initial gas medium with sources of diffusing elements. Sources of diffusing elements are used in form of alloy of aluminum FeAl or NiAl, and Cr and/or Si. Direction of circulation of halide medium is periodically changed for opposite one. Thickness of diffusion layer at constant temperature and time of diffusion saturation is regulated by varying velocity of flow of circulating halide medium. Technical result of the invention consists in that alongside with saturation with aluminum, the treated surface is simultaneously saturated with chromium and/or silicon. Offered method allows application of uniform coating to entire area of external and internal surfaces of parts and increase of diffusion saturation efficiency.
