FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to chemical-thermal treatment, particularly to methods of diffusion saturation of items fabricated out of heat resistant alloys on base of nickel and used for operation under influence of aggressive gaseous medium at temperatures of 700-1100°C. The method consists in heating and successive saturation of items with diffusive elements in a circulating medium containing halogenides. Cobalt, chromium and aluminium are used as sources of diffusive elements. Ammonium halogenide is used as a halogenide. First simultaneous saturation with cobalt and chromium is carried out in a medium containing components at a following ratio, wt %: diffusive elements - cobalt and chromium - 85-99.8, ammonium halogenide - 0.2-1.5, at ratio of cobalt and chromium 20-85 and 15-80 wt % correspondingly, after that saturation with aluminium is performed. Also saturation with diffusive elements is carried out at temperature of >900°C, but not above the temperature of tempering alloy on nickel base. Ammonium iodide or ammonia chloride or ammonium bromide, or ammonium fluoride or their mixture is used as ammonium halogenide.
EFFECT: upgraded quality and service life of coating.
