FIELD: downhole heaters. SUBSTANCE: downhole heater lowered into well on electric cable has body with conducting head. Body is partially filled with electrolyte. Electrode is immersed into electrolyte and installed on insulator. Body is flexible made of heat- and gasoline-proof rubber. Electrode and conducting head are connected by flexible conductors to cable introduced into body cavity through plug. Body is reinforced with wire.
