GEAR FOR OUTPUT OF SAPROPEL Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: excavation of sapropel from closed ponds. SUBSTANCE: gear for output of sapropel has craft with suction dredge, winch with traction element, flexible hose, fixture to process sapropel and intake fixture to capture sapropel in the form of box of U-shaped cross-section fitted with suction branch pipe and pontoons of variable buoyancy attached to box. Intake fixture is equipped with measuring stick mounted for positioning of its upper end above surface of pond. Lower end of stick carries float with center of gravity displaced downwards and linked to intake fixture by means of flexible element. Float is positioned under surface of pond at depth exceeding maximum deepening of intake fixture working productive thickness of sapropel. EFFECT: potential for accurate determination of entry of intake fixture by visual means. 2 dwg
