FIELD: measurement technology; measurement of angular displacement of shaft, for example steering-wheel shaft in control system of automobile steering- wheel electromechanical booster. SUBSTANCE: sensor has body with two windings located in its hole; besides that the following parts are mounted coaxially in housing: stator, rotor made in form of cylindrical rod and threaded movable member which may move along axis of rotor. Stator is made in form of hollow cylinder whose walls are provided with at least two longitudinal slots smoothly distributed relative to surface of stator. Threaded movable member is made in form of cylinder with hole and splines formed on outer surface of threaded movable member. Number of splines corresponds to number of slots. Threaded movable member is mounted in stator in such position that its splines are received by slots of stator. Sensor is provided with framework made from dielectric material which embraces the stator. Framework is provided with two circular slots and windings are received by circular slots of framework in one layer. EFFECT: simplified construction. 4 cl, 2 dwg
