ELECTRIC SWITCH Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering, devices for commutation of electric circuits. SUBSTANCE: this switch can be employed to cut out braking signal in motor vehicle. Electric switch includes base with contacts and lead-out plugs, extended cylindrical case housing pressure rod actuating mobile contacts and location part in the form of bushing with flange and fixing unit. Two sets of elements in the form of inclined lateral ribs separated by grooves are placed in symmetry on extended case along its axis. Each set of elements located on case has two rows of ribs inclined to different sides. Protrusions in the form of strips of semicircular section are arranged in symmetry at even distance from set of element along entire length of case. Bushing of location part is provided along entire length of hole with reciprocal sets of elements in the form of inclined lateral ribs separated by grooves. Ribs of each row of elements of case are inclined towards ribs of elements of bushing having same inclination. All in all there are four reciprocal sets of elements with alternating inclination of ribs located in hole of bushing. Three parallel grooves are formed in symmetry between pairs of reciprocal sets of elements. EFFECT: simplified mounting of switch. 6 cl, 13 dwg
