FIELD: electrical engineering; backing light switches for vehicles. SUBSTANCE: switch has base with contact system and case with telescopic hold-down rod; base and case interiors are isolated by means of hermetically sealed flexible diaphragm. Contact system is assembled of fixed contacts and spring-loaded closing contact bridge mounted for withdrawal from fixed contact when rod moves into case. Intermediate pusher spring-loaded towards rod that abuts against the latter through diaphragm is installed between rod and contact bridge. The latter is provided with hole receiving tail end of pusher tilted through certain angle to direction of rod displacement to provide for transversal shift of contact bridge on fixed contacts upon their closure. In order to facilitate manufacture hole may be made so that its axis is parallel or almost parallel to direction of rod displacement. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of power switch.. 5 cl, 4 dwg
