FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: the method includes a course of daily seances of 20-30-min- long inspirations with hypercapnic and hypercapnicallyhypoxic gaseous mixtures based upon atmospheric air at nitrogen-constant composition. During the course carbon dioxide content in the mixture is increased, oxygen content is decreased. On achieving carbon dioxide concentration of 1.3-1.6% in inspired gaseous mixture each seance should be conducted in two stages. At the first stage the value of carbon dioxide concentration in inspired gaseous mixture is 0.5-0.7 against that of inspired gaseous mixture at the second stage. Duration of the first stage is 0.2-0.3 against total seance duration. The method enables to increase adaptational and compensating capabilities of human body and could be used as the method to improve the level of physical health. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 ex
