FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in designing advanced automatic control systems of vehicle at braking and traction duties. Proposed method includes operations of measuring, processing and analyzing the signals proportional to power factor actually realized vehicle wheels with support surface and their derivatives, and also operation on regulation of vehicle actuators. Regulation is started at distribution of tangential forces among wheels, or vehicle sides, or vehicle axles differing from respective distribution of normal forces and is ended at elimination of mismatching. EFFECT: improved quality of functioning of automatic control systems at different modes of operation, namely, traction and braking efficiency, stability in road keeping, reduction of fuel consumption facilitated working conditions for drivers and increased efficiency of operation. 5 dwg
