FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: dicyclohexyldisulfide suitable as rubber, plastics, paint, agricultural and pharmaceutical chemical additives and as intermediate for synthesis of cyclohexylsulfrnyl chloride is prepared by reaction of chlorocyclohexane with sodium disulfide at molar ratio 1:(0.83-0.9), respectively. Sodium disulfide is used in the form of 7-22% aqueous solution. Organic solvent, in particular heptane or mixture of aliphatic and naphthenic hydrocarbons with boiling range 80-120 C, is also present in quantities of 10 to 25% of the weight of chlorocyclohexane. Reaction is carried out in presence of an surfactant selected from polyethylene glycol, emulsifier S-10, oxyethylated alkyl- and dialkylphenols, and polyethylene glycol ethers of monoalkylphenols in quantities 0.5 to 2.0% of the weight of chlorocyclohexane. As 7-10% aqueous sodium disulfide solution, a solution is used obtained from sodium hydroxide-sulfur interaction at their molar ratio 1:(0.59-0.79) in aqueous medium at 90-95 C. Yield of desired product is by 0.7 to 13.8% higher than in existing process. EFFECT: increased yield of product. 6 cl, 1 tbl, 3 ex
