FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves heating strip to annealing temperature of 700-740 C; holding; cooling and galvanizing. Strip is held at annealing temperature for 24-95 s and cooled to temperature of 460-500 C at cooling rate of 9.4-36 C/s. Method is used for producing hot-rolled galvanized strips from low-carbon steel in continuous hot galvanizing units.
