FIELD: electrolysis producing chlorine. SUBSTANCE: given bipolar plate is made of composite material. Plate includes central current-conductive part manufactured by hot molding of mixture of powders of graphite or conductive carbon and thermo softening polymer resistant to corrosion and two end parts having distribution holes for injection of newly made electrolytes and discharge of spent electrolytes and products of electrolysis. End and central parts present one unit. End parts are produced from mixture of powders of graphite or conductive carbon and thermo softening polymer taken in proportion lower than was taken for manufacture of central part. Specified mixture for end parts can additionally contain powder of non-conductive compound. In this case mixture can be free of graphite powder or conductive carbon powder. EFFECT: enhanced chemical resistance of plates of electrolyzer. 4 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
