FIELD: medicine, obstetrics. SUBSTANCE: the method includes sampling the tissue of uterine placental bed, preparing by using nonhistological preparations, studying the presence of multinuclear cells, cytotrophoblastic activity and degree of gestational reconstruction in uterine-placental arteries. It is conducted a scraping off in endo- and myometrium to detect the state of placental barrier and myometrial segment of uterine placental artery. At thickened placental barrier it is predicted a compensated phase of placental deficiency, in case of multinuclear giant cells in myometrial segment of uterine placental artery it is predicted a subcompensated phase, at the absence of uterine placental artery in myometrial and endometrial segment and at unsteady maturation of villous arbor it is detected a decompensated phase of placental deficiency. The method provides lower traumaticity and higher informational value. EFFECT: higher efficiency of diagnostics. 1 cl, 4 ex
