FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to obstetrics. In order to confirm role of infectious process in uteroplacental region in genesis of combination of threat of abortion and development of fetus growth retardation syndrome in future in pregnant women with symptoms of abortion threat leukocyte intoxication index is determined by formula: LII=segmentonuclear + stab + immature + myelocytes/monocytes + lymphocytes + eosinophils. In case if LII is higher than 1.8, infectious nature of said complication is detected.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to diagnose endogenic intoxication in case of abortion threat and establish infectious cause of fetus development retardation syndrome.
