STABILIZER OF ALTERNATING VOLTAGE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2187834 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering, stabilization of output alternating voltage in power supply sources. SUBSTANCE: stabilizer of alternating voltage has transformer with main, additional and measurement windings. Start of main winding is input and outputs terminals of stabilizer. Stabilizer also has source of power supply and standard voltage, full-wave rectifier with RC filter across output, voltage comparators which inverting inputs are connected through resistors to source of standard voltage and which non-inverting inputs are connected also through resistors to output of RC filter. At least one comparator has positive feedback. Stabilizer also incorporates transistor amplifiers, electromagnetic relays with change-over contacts. Novelty of proposed invention consists in fact that stabilizer having number of additional winding equal to N has (N+1) relays and comparators. Main and additional windings are connected in series: start of first additional winding is connected to finish of main winding, start of (k+1)-th additional winding and break contact of k-th relay are connected to finish of each k-th additional winding, break contact of N-th relay is connected to finish of N-th additional winding, make contact of first relay and break contact of (N+1)-th relay are connected to finish of main winding, make contact of (N+1)-th relay is connected to finish of N-th additional winding. Change-over contact of this relay is second input terminal of stabilizer, change-over contact of each k-th relay is connected to make contact of (k+1) relay, change-over contact of N-th relay is second output terminal of stabilizer. Outputs of comparators are connected to inputs of transistor amplifiers. EFFECT: raised operational reliability, simplified design and reduced mass and size indices of stabilizer. 2 dwg
