FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to electric engineering and can be used in electric power supply devices, in particular in constant voltage stabilisers. Alternating voltage stabiliser comprises two input and two output leads, transformer containing series-connected primary winding start of which is the first input and the first output leads of stabiliser and step-up and/or step-down tappet winding, current-limiting resistor. Taps of tapped winding are connected to corresponding inputs of the first and the second group of switches. Switches of the first group are built on the basis of relays containing normally closed and normally opened switching contacts. Switches of the second group are built on the basis of relays with normally opened contacts. The end of the primary winding is the second output lead of stabiliser. Each even-numbered tap is connected with input of one of switches from the second group, outputs of which are connected via current-limiting resistance with the second output lead of stabiliser. The first tap connected with primary winding end is connected with normally closed contact of the first switch from the first group where to each subsequent k-th (where k=2,3,…N) tap normally opened contact of (k-1)-th switch is connected, switching contact of k-th switch is connected with normally closed contact of (k+1)-th switch, switching contact of (N-1)-th switch is connected to the second input lead of stabiliser.

EFFECT: simplification, increase in reliability, decrease in mass-size parametres.
