FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: AC voltage stabiliser comprises a switching unit, which consists of switching relays, a current-limiting resistor and a transformer, in parallel to the primary winding of which a capacitor is connected, the secondary winding of the transformer is connected into a loading circuit, the switching unit is made in the form of three switching relays, normally open and normally closed contacts of the first relay are connected to outputs of the secondary winding of the transformer, and the switching contact is connected with the first output of the primary winding of the transformer, to which the normally closed contact of the second relay is connected, the switching contact of which is connected with the second output of the primary winding of the transformer and with the normally open contact of the third relay, the normally open contact of the second relay and the switching contact of the third relay are connected to the second output of the current-limiting resistor, the normally closed contact of the third relay is connected to a neutral wire of the network.

EFFECT: increased reliability and simplified device due to transfer of a transformer from a current transformer mode into a voltage transformer mode and back without rupture of current of a primary winding with connection of a current-limiting resistor for period of transformer saturation.
