FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: alternating voltage stabiliser is suggested, it consists of four outputs, a transformer containing a split winding, the main winding which beginning is the first input and the first output leads and its end is the second output lead of the stabiliser connected to the first output of the split winding, a resistor, two groups of switches. Switches of the first group include a change-over contact, a normally closed output of the first change-over contact in the first group switch is connected to the end of the main winding where a normally closed output of the first change-over contact in each successive switch is coupled to the common contact output of the previous switch and each normally closed output of change-over contacts is coupled to the respective tap. Inputs of switches in the second group through the resistor are connected to the second input lead of the stabiliser and their outputs are coupled to taps under odd numbers, to the second input lead of the stabiliser the common output of the last switch contact is coupled, the normally closed output of the change-over contact is coupled to the second output of the split winding. The stabiliser contains additional voltage sensors and switches of the second group are made on the basis of semiconductor switches.

EFFECT: increased efficiency ratio of the device.
